Twitter “stupid” to send password change request via e-mail

 Last month twitter send out 100,000s of e-mails asking users to change there password and sent a link to there site to do so.  But this action goes against all sensible security advise a researcher said. Twitter took this action after they believed certain accounts could of been comprimited.  Sending e-mails asking to change passwords or confirm details are usually sent via cyber criminals not top ranked internet companys such as twitter.
